Job Description:
My long-time client is looking for a Strategic Account Manager to lead the Company's aggressive sales growth of valves, pumps, controls, instrumentation, and application specific systems to specific key accounts in the dairy, fluid food and beverage markets. This a highly strategic and visible position with the potential to grow into leadership positions with the company.
This role is virtual (home-office based) but candidate must be located in Minnesota, Wisconsin or Illinois.
Qualifications
*BS in business, engineering, or a related field - REQUIRED
*5+ years of sales experience and experience dealing with direct (OEMs, A&Es) and indirect channel management (distributors, reps, systems integrators)
*3 - 5+ years of experience in sales of valves, pumps, sensors, instrumentation and fluid handling
*2+ years of national account management experience
*"Strategic-mindset"
*Highly polished, excellent communication skills
*Proven ability to drive and forecast sales via sales funnel, CRM utilization, value selling, etc.
*Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 75%
*Experience calling on companies like Tetra Pak, Nelson-Jameson, GEA Process Engineering, SPX Process Equipment, Ecolab, DCI, Johnson Diversey, Emerson - Rosemount Div. or similar would be a huge plus
Compensation includes a salary in range of $80K to $90K+ with car and bonus to $115 to $135K+ - uncapped. Great benefits as well as solid growth potential.
