Job Description:
Our client, a profitable software company that services the investment industry, has engaged us to conduct a search for a User Experience (UX) Architect to spearhead the UX for a start-up team within the larger organization. The start-up is charged with pivoting their product development process from vertical silos to ownership across all product lines. This hire will report to the Director of Application Architecture.
Job Functions:
* The qualifying candidate should be comfortable with a high-profile and fast paced UX architect role.
* Hands-on participation in all aspects of UX architecture and design of core enterprise desktop application.
* Holistic information architecture design from high-level to detail.
* Design of the visual framework, look and feel elements, and workflow.
* Rapid prototyping and innovation of new user experiences and concepts.
* Help develop processes and collaterals for moving designs to development.
* Help drive standardization of IA and UX concepts and core UI framework.
* Help drive development of prototyping platform for product development.
* Key player in cross-functional collaboration between product management and product development teams.
* Participation in full SDLC from concept and design to implementation.
Qualifications:
* Highly organized, self-starting, creative and ambitious.
* Familiarity with different design technologies and paradigms.
* Hands-on high-level and detail-level design experience.
* Ability to simplify complex user workflows and tame large data sets.
* Rapid storyboarding and prototyping experience is a must.
* End-to-end application design experience.
* People-first design methodology.
* Human factors design exposure is a plus.
* Financial software exposure is a plus.
* .NET and C# exposure are a plus.
